The Objective

Create a professional digital presence that clearly communicates Madani's engineering and energy capabilities, and presents the business with a credible corporate identity to clients, partners and candidates.

The Approach

The homepage pairs a photo of refinery infrastructure with a confident headline and two direct paths — Explore Our Services or Talk to Us — for visitors who arrive already knowing what they need. A near-navy backdrop with a single emerald accent runs consistently through the logo mark, buttons and category badges, reading as safe, technical and credible. Deeper pages extend the same structure so services, projects and industries stay easy to scan on any device.

JOVI

Leather Goods, Reframed

Digital storefront / product storytelling / personalisation

A premium ecommerce concept built around tactile product storytelling, personalisation, gifting and everyday carry.

Concept Website — Independent concept redesign by ajak.Web. This project is an unsolicited design concept and is not affiliated with or endorsed by JOVI Leather.

Technology

The Objective

Design a flagship e-commerce concept that avoids every "luxury ecommerce" cliché — no black-and-gold, no cold minimalism, no generic product-grid hero — while still landing the core idea: the site should feel expensive, and the products should feel like a pleasant surprise at the price.

The Approach

A warm paper-and-espresso palette with a single JOVI maroon accent, one secondary editorial colour per section rather than a full palette at once, and an Instrument Serif / Hanken Grotesk pairing chosen specifically to avoid the Fraunces-and-Inter look already used elsewhere in this portfolio. Five of the six Signature Products now carry original concept photography shot to a single consistent art direction; the sixth, plus every supporting material and construction detail, still runs on the hand-built SVG line art and colour-blocked panels the concept launched with — so the real photography sits inside the same illustrated-editorial system rather than replacing it outright.

Key Features

  1. 01The Gift Finder — a three-question interactive quiz (recipient, occasion, budget) that recommends curated pieces instead of a filter sidebar
  2. 02Live Personalisation Preview — typed initials render instantly as an embossed monogram on the chosen product
  3. 03Product Storytelling Tabs — Material, Construction, Interior, Hardware, Personalisation and Packaging, each with its own illustrated vignette
  4. 04"What's in the Bag" — an editorial annotation system pairing the Everyday Sling's lifestyle photograph with numbered callouts for the pieces it's built to carry
  5. 05The JOVI Wall — a rotated, mixed-size collage of customer moments and quotes styled like a physical pinboard rather than an Instagram grid

King’s Hall Cafe

A self-directed redesign concept exploring a warm, editorial identity for a neighbourhood café — built to test a bespoke design system rather than to fulfil a client brief.

The Objective

Design a complete bespoke identity for a café concept from the ground up — not a template pass — to explore how a warm, editorial art direction could feel distinct from the generic "coffee shop" website look.

The Approach

A dedicated brass-and-charcoal palette, a paired Playfair Display and Inter type system, and a fluid type scale run through every section — hero, menu, favourites, reviews and location — so the concept reads as one considered system rather than a stock layout with swapped colours.

Chicken Rice Syukran

Food & Beverage

A warm, appetite-led website for a Hainanese chicken rice restaurant in Shah Alam, built to help hungry visitors find the menu and reserve a table without friction.

Objective

Give the restaurant a customer-friendly website that communicates its menu and story clearly, with a fast path to reserving a table.

Approach

The homepage leads with a bold headline beside a photography-ready hero panel, staged and waiting on the restaurant's own food photography, backed by two direct actions — View Menu and Reserve via WhatsApp. A cream background, brick-red accent and rounded, soft-bordered cards run through the About, Menu, Gallery, Reviews and Contact sections of the one-page site, keeping it feeling home-cooked rather than corporate.

  • Category-tabbed menu with dish descriptions and pricing
  • Contact section with an embedded map, hours and WhatsApp reservations

Selected Project Concept Project

Safwa Umrah

Travel & Hospitality

A refined Umrah travel website concept designed to make pilgrimage planning feel clear, trustworthy and effortless. The experience focuses on package discovery, itinerary information, accommodation details and easy WhatsApp enquiries.

Objective

Explore how a premium Malaysian Umrah travel agency could present its packages, guidance and preparation resources through a calm, trustworthy digital experience — with a clear path from browsing packages to reaching out on WhatsApp.

Approach

A deep emerald and warm ivory palette, paired with a serif display face and restrained gold accents, sets a premium, spiritual tone without leaning on heavy imagery or ornamentation. A quick package finder sits above the fold, a horizontal timeline walks through the journey from Malaysia to the Holy Land, and WhatsApp enquiry buttons stay within reach throughout — all built mobile-first, since most visitors would arrive from a shared link rather than a desktop search.

  • Quick package finder that filters packages by budget, duration and travel period
  • Umrah journey timeline from preparation in Malaysia through Makkah, Madinah and return
  • Pre-filled WhatsApp enquiry links on every package for a fast, low-friction contact journey

NOVAÉ

Fashion / E-commerce

A premium fashion e-commerce concept exploring modern product presentation, a responsive shopping experience, and refined brand positioning for retail and boutique businesses.

Objective

Show how a premium fashion retailer could present products through a clean, modern digital storefront — with easy product discovery, quick product previews and a persistent shopping bag, entirely on the front end.

Approach

The homepage leads with an editorial hero and a serif display face, then moves into a New Arrivals grid, Shop by Category tiles and a Quick View modal for previewing colour, size and price without leaving the page. A warm neutral palette and generous whitespace keep the storefront feeling premium rather than templated, while the header collapses into a search panel and mobile menu on smaller screens.

  • Persistent cart drawer and wishlist, saved with localStorage
  • Responsive navigation with a mobile menu, search panel and category browsing

Klinik Ceria

Healthcare

A modern, warm and responsive website concept designed for a local family general clinic.

Objective

Explore how a local family clinic could turn everyday visits into a simpler experience online — clear service information, visible opening hours, and a fast way to check in with the clinic before heading over.

Approach

The concept prioritises reassurance over persuasion: a warm, uncluttered layout leads with services and hours rather than a hard sell, with WhatsApp built into the header, hours and contact sections so a visitor can ask a quick question — including whether the clinic is open right now — without picking up the phone. A calm, family-friendly palette and a short photo gallery of the clinic are designed to make a first-time visitor feel comfortable before they've even walked in.

  • WhatsApp built into the header, hours and contact sections
  • A dedicated hours section addressing "are you open now?" directly
  • Service categories covering general, family, women's, men's and preventive care
  • A short photo gallery giving a first look inside the clinic

Furniture Business Website

Furniture / Business

A premium showroom website for a handcrafted chesterfield sofa maker, built to present the product with the same craftsmanship it's made with.

Objective

Present a handcrafted furniture brand as established and premium, and make it easy for a visitor to book a showroom appointment.

Approach

A single continuously-scrolling page carries the visitor from collections through a custom-order journey, materials, a showroom gallery and FAQ. The hero pairs a dark charcoal-and-gold palette with a heritage stamp badge, staged on a photography-ready backdrop awaiting the brand's campaign shoot. A persistent top bar carries phone, WhatsApp and hours for both showrooms, and a single "Book a Showroom Visit" action repeats through the collections, custom-order and FAQ sections.

  • Two-step "Book a Showroom Visit" form separating personal details from visit details
  • Persistent top utility bar with phone, WhatsApp and hours for both showroom locations

Lumière Hair Studio

Beauty & Wellness

A premium modern website concept for a hair and beauty salon, designed around services, visual presentation, appointments and WhatsApp contact.

Objective

Explore how a hair and beauty salon could present its services and atmosphere online with the same polish as an in-salon experience — making it simple for a new client to see the work, understand the services on offer, and book without friction.

Approach

The concept is built around a warm, premium palette and a services grid — haircut, colour, treatment, rebonding and scalp care — presented as clearly as a printed menu, backed by a short gallery so a visitor can see the studio's actual work. A WhatsApp "Book Appointment" action repeats in the header, hero and a sticky mobile button, keeping booking one tap away from anywhere on the page.

Selected Project Concept Landing Page

Premium Pastry Landing Page

Food & Beverage · Landing Page

A premium editorial landing page concept for a boutique pastry business, focused on product presentation, brand storytelling and a simple WhatsApp enquiry journey.

Objective

Explore how a boutique pastry business could present its products and story through a single premium, editorial landing page — leading with strong product presentation and a fast, low-friction path to enquire.

Approach

A single-page editorial layout pairs product photography with short brand-story copy, keeping the page focused rather than spreading the concept across a full multi-page site. A WhatsApp enquiry link sits within easy reach throughout, so a visitor who's ready to ask about an order doesn't have to hunt for a contact form.

  • Editorial product presentation built around photography and brand storytelling
  • A simple WhatsApp enquiry journey in place of a checkout or contact form
  • Responsive single-page layout designed mobile-first for shared links
